Come Out and Try Lacrosse!
Who? Boys, K-8 grade. New and existing players in the Century or Hilhi boundaries.
When? Saturdays, February 8th, 15th, 22nd. From 10:30a to Noon.
Where? Century High School Football field
What to bring? For new players, just athletic shoes or cleats, and a water bottle. For existing players, bring your gear!
PRO TIP 1: It's February. It's cold. Have your new player (especially the young ones!) wear winter gloves! The lacrosse sticks have metal shafts and get cold. Also, consider layering a hoodie with a warmer jacket over it. They'll at least have the option to peel off a layer once they get roasting hot having fun! (For new players, 3rd grade and above with gear, it's suggested you wear your shoulder pads over a hoodie or jacket.)

2025 Spring Season
This year we're joining forces with the Glencoe and Liberty Youth Lacrosse programs. We're still waiting for details but this will likely start around mid-April or May, and will use fun drills and small-sided games to help players discover lacrosse. We'll post updates here as we learn more.
Note: Other than a lacrosse stick and athletic shoes (or cleats), no other specialized equipment is necessary.
Required Equipment
The following equipment is required to play boys lacrosse (grades 3-8 and high school). Required equipment can be purchased online or at a local retailers like Dick's Sporting Goods or LaxNW Training and Retail Facility. Goalie specific gear is provided by each team.

For 5-8th grade youth, you'll want a men's stick (labeled for attack or midfielder position). Sticks labeled as youth, junior, or boys are smaller and quickly out grown.
5/6 grade defenders use standard midfielder/attack length sticks.
Lacrosse helmet (white helmet is required for high school team)
Lacrosse shoulder pads (must meet NOCSAE 200 Standard)
Lacrosse elbow pads
Lacrosse gloves
Mouthguard
Athletic cup
Cleats (e.g. lacrosse, football, soccer, or baseball. No Metal Cleats.)
